A Judge or Magistrate can arrest any person who commits an offence in his presence within the district or division that the Judge/Magistrate sits/covers. Such a Judge/Magistrate can arrest the offender himself or order another person to do the arrest. The Judge/Magistrate can also order the arrested person to be kept in custody but must also offer bail.
